Q: What could possibly be funnier than a wise-ass muppet, purportedly from the distant planet “Melmac”, landing in some nerdy scientist’s yard, and becoming his pet? At what point does the inherent funniness fostered by this premise, cross the line into outright hilarity? The answer is, when the wise-ass muppet puts on a hawaiian shirt and oversized novelty sunglasses, and lip syncs to Bob Seger.
