Wii Sports Resort at last

FedEx got my copy of Wii Sports Resort to me today and YES I’m totally stoked… I’ve only spent time with the frisbee and the golf mini-games so far but I’m already very impressed with Resort’s MotionPlus implementation and could recommend the game on the virtues of just those two. I’m freshly reminded of why I got excited about the Wii in the first place… and of course, I always get a kick out of it when my Miis get to do new stuff.

Anyway my perspective is bound to be slotted as that of a Mii fan and a bit of a Wii fanboy… but straight up, as a gamer whose PS3 is vying for a lot of his gaming attention lately, this game is definitely worth the money.

There are dozens of Mii designs to be found online, of present-day freakish Michael Jackson. Taking a cue from Andy Anonymous and his submission over at gamercreated.com, I made a Mii of Thriller-era MJ…. the MJ people actually like.

Much thanks goes to Andy for the design concept. The correct eye, mouth and hair selections had me stumped until I saw Andy’s design.
