Hope you all had a good weekend, and happy mother’s day to you and your moms… being glued to my computer pretty constantly, I got mine an E-card… seems kinda “welfare” but, it brought tears to her eyes in a good way… try it!

Today’s celebrity Mii of the Day is my own creation, after 2 or 3 versions, I think I’ve come as close as the Mii palette will allow:

What makes Bobby Hill look like Bobby Hill? The answer is his short blond hair, his small, downward turned eyes, and his flat wide, yet small nose. But, more significantly, Bobby Hill is easy to re-create, by virtue of the fact that he’s a cartoon character – the King of the Hill artists have a specific way of drawing his features, and these exact eye, nose and mouth shapes are available in the Mii palette… more or less exact anyway. In later seasons, they drew him with more detail, whites around his eyes, more shading and texture overall.. typical of how a mainstream cartoon evolves…

P.S. The animated gif contest is still underway… I’m going to set the cut-off date for submissions tentatively, for May 31. Also, I’ve added a runner-up prize, a new nunchuk controller. Tocci and Autx, YOU two in particular better submit something
